Taping post op helps skin to retract and reduce fluid from inflamed tissue. Taping improves the overall recovery of the body. Tape is waterproof so you may shower as normal. You may also continue to receive massages while wearing tape. The 3 day rule apply; no tape sooner than 3 days postop / remove tape 3 days after application. Ideal time for application is between 1-6 weeks post surgery.
